LGBTQ+ Artist Residency and Gallery Takeover

We are looking for artists to build on a very successful residency with artists Luke Pell and Lucy Cash in the spring and summer of 2022 and on a project run by Forest Arts in New Milton last year.  Working with our central concepts at the core: place/placemaking, collaboration, design and communities, the aim of this project is to work in collaboration with members of the Breakout Youth groups and young LGBTQ+ people locally to explore the concept of queerness and gender identity in the context of living in the New Forest and also to mentor two local early career LGBTQ+ artists to enable them to continue working with this community into the future.

Please read the brief fully before applying.
