spudALUMNI
Your next chapter. Our shared creative community.
Your time at spudWORKS was a starting point. Your connection with SPUD can continue long after it.
spudALUMNI brings together everyone who has taken part in a range of opportunities at spudWORKS, such as Launchpad, National Park Residencies and extending activities. It’s a space to reconnect, celebrate what you’re doing now, share opportunities and build relationships across different Launchpad years.
Whether you’re developing your creative practice, studying, working or exploring a different direction, you remain part of our community.
Membership of spudALUMNI is by invitation, bringing together Launchpad graduates, former studio artists, National Park artists in residence and people who have developed a sustained relationship with SPUD — from long-standing spudYOUTH Architecture participants to artists who have collaborated with us across multiple projects or residencies.
Stay connected. Keep growing.
Staying connected with people who understand that journey can make a difference.
Through spudALUMNI, we’re building a network where former participants can:
-
Meet other alumni and exchange ideas and experience.
-
Share new work, projects, exhibitions and achievements.
-
Hear about creative opportunities and professional development.
-
Take part in network events and activities.
-
Find collaborators and connect with current Launchpad participants.
The network is free to join, and you can take part in whatever way suits you. You don’t need to live nearby or be working full-time in the arts.
We’re developing spudALUMNI with you, so your ideas will help shape what happens next.
Where spudWORKS leads
Our alumni take their creativity in many different directions. Here we’ll celebrate their work and follow the journeys that have grown from their time at spudWORKS.
From first commissions and new exhibitions to collaborations, further study and unexpected changes of direction, every story offers a different perspective on life after Launchpad.
Alumni stories are coming soon. Have something to share? Tell us through the form below.
Events and activities
Reconnect with familiar faces, meet alumni from other years and make time for your creative development.
As the network grows, we’ll share upcoming gatherings, opportunities to exchange work and ideas, workshops and collaborative activities here. Events may take place at spudWORKS, online or elsewhere, depending on what members would find useful.
Our first activities are being developed. Join the network and opt in to email updates to hear what’s coming up.
