TO RAISE £100,000
The Living Room - Dementia Project
The Living Room is a workshop space, purpose designed and equipped to offer people living with dementia, and their families, the opportunity to work creatively with artists.
It aims to offer a positive, safe and pleasant environment for people to take part in arts activities with artists using a variety of materials. We want to offer a source of happiness and enjoyment for those living with dementia. We want them to feel valued, part of something bigger and to enrich their world.
We will place an emphasis on the pleasure and benefits of sharing experiences in the moment and creating positive memories for family members.
We have set ourselves an ambitious target of £100,000 to raise to be able to build this new workshop space at spudWORKS in Sway. With your help we can get there.
We’d also love you to organise your own events to help raise funds. If you have an idea then please drop in for a cuppa and a chat and ask to speak with Mark or Tom.
